From self judgement to compassion
One of the first most powerful steps you can take on your health journey is shifting your mindset towards yourself. Here in Los Angeles, wellness seems to be something that has become a list a mile long. It's a challenge to feel like your failing with every new health trend that pops up! That’s just the thing. Your wellbeing is not just another area to feel like you are not enough. It is the power of connection with your body and your story. If you are ticking all the “right” boxes, but find yourself stuck in a place of self-judgment, you may find that you are not experiencing the freedom in your health that you desire. For me, it has been a beautiful experience to choose to be proud of exactly where I am at TODAY. I found that the 'never enough' feeling I had in my life faded as I began to show and speak immense gratitude over my body. I am proud of the confidence I carry, and the story I live. It is in this state of compassion that we can begin to nourish ourselves each day from a place of true love, and not ticking boxes from judgment. I would almost argue to you that your daily workout classes and green juices are doing you no good if it’s coming from a place of judgment towards your body. YOU ARE ENOUGH my friend, and the more you speak life-giving words over your life and body, you will discover how proud you are of who you have become. You will also find you are more able to listen and respond to your body's natural cues! It’s from that place that you can begin to experience your Wide Open Space Living.
